I really need to keep up with this Blog, ESPECIALLY since I am PAYING for this domain.

Lots has happened since my last post.

After 2yrs of not working due to his MS, 3 tries and 1 Attorney later, my husband was finally approved for Social Security Disability!

We got a nice fat check this past December (Minus $9500 to the attorney smh) and we have already received 3 months of his monthly check.

GOD IS GOOD!

The last 2yrs have been hell. I was so sad for my husband, so angry that he has MS, so scared for not having enough money, but when I tell yall God ALWAYS MADE A WAY! From my husband’s mother giving us food. to his sister giving us $1500 in the 2yr period, his Aunt giving us money and us getting random checks in the mail from random companies that owed us money. WE WERE ALWAYS GOOD!

I have already spent about $5k on things that we needed that we could not get in the last 2yrs (Money adds up very quickly), we paid off bills that went to collections, got a new car (My lease was up) and finally sold his car back to the Dealership.

Everything is looking up. We now have plenty of money in the bank and saving again for our future.

I also got a promotion at work last month. I thought the increase would be at least $10k, but it was a little less than $6k. I am still grateful It is more than what I was making before.

I have a nice bonus coming in May.

Life is good.
